Inspired from the craft of paper making, the theme emphasises on the elegance and versatility of paper in different artisanal techniques of shibori, weaving, sculpting and folding.
With increasing awareness towards the importance of environmentally responsible design, the theme also promotes the use of sustainable materials like handmade banana fibre paper.
Concept Development
Showcasing the craft through creative display of various paper lamps along with different papers used in making. Layering the paper samples adds depth and drama through light and shadow thus giving an extra dimension to the setup. Finalising the composition by using woven paper wall art and green plants.
